Making Earth Godly Again
~ Locally & Globally ~
The three general focal areas of the Old Manor Farm Preservation Trust are as follows:
- Support individuals and organisations dedicated to Making Earth Godly Again
- Help people to develop a deeper personal relationship with God
- Provide a “spiritual sanctuary” and “religious retreat” for Clergy, People of Faith and Spiritual Seekers
The Old Manor Farm Preservation Trust supports those three general focal areas by primarily operating in four specific focal areas, namely:
- Religious – By promoting and supporting Religious Harmony locally and globally, thus naturally building on the Winnington-Ingram family’s ecclesiastical legacy.
- Educational – By providing relevant educational programmes for the Clergy, People of Faith and Spiritual Seekers on Godliness / Spiritual Mindfulness / Wholeness & Wellness ~ which may physically take place in other locations around the UK and abroad (such as Parrox Hall in Lancashire, which is an existing charity, as well as in the village of Bredsjö, Sweden – to name but two).
- Historical – The Restoration / Conservation of Grade 1 Listed building Old Manor Farm itself and the advancement of the local agrarian heritage, as famously described in Flora Thompson’s classic 19th Century work, “Larkrise To Candleford” ~ in which Old Manor Farm is featured. This will create a physical space that will support both Spiritual Communion and Education.
- Local – Cottisford does not have a village hall and the main dining hall of Old Manor Farm can be made available on request for village meetings etc., to support the Local Community.
